Top 10 Tips from IAS Toppers: A Blueprint for Success
Tumblr media
The Indian Administrative Service or IAS examination is regarded as one of the most competitive and esteemed examinations that occur in the country. Every year, there are lots of aspirants that want to become an IAS officer; however, only some of them achieve this title. Though the competition is too high, the things that create a difference between an IAS topper and others are the disciplined approach, smart strategies, and consistency in preparation.
In this blog, we will be discussing the top 10 tips from IAS toppers and a few strategies that helped them crack this IAS exam in one go. We will also consider how you will be able to apply these tips in your journey. Be it the nascent stage of preparation or finishing stages, the same proven strategies will keep you right on course.
Understanding the Syllabus Inside Out Familiarization with the detailed syllabus of the examination is one of the main mistakes many IAS aspirants commit. The IAS toppers, always in their interviews, mention getting acquainted with the entire UPSC syllabus. Deep understanding aids an aspirant to prioritize topics and streamline preparation.
How to do it:
Break the syllabus into smaller, manageable parts, namely Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Keep the syllabus handy for quick reference. Mark important topics and link them to current affairs. Pro Tip: A schedule that assimilates the syllabus is how many toppers were able to finish their preparation on time.
Making a Personalized Study Plan Toppers usually refer to how they made structured study plans according to their strengths and weaknesses. Having a structured and personalized study plan is essential to ensure you cover the vast syllabus efficiently.
How to Create an Effective Study Plan: Segregate your day for focused study sessions, which must be at least 4-6 hours. Segregate preparation into phases: 3 months of prelims, 4 months of mains, and 2 months of revision. Allot time for optional subjects to study, general studies, and daily current affairs. The TNPSC coaching centre in Coimbatore often brings it to the notice of aspirants that it is over mere following of a personalised study schedule but its religious adherence is imperative to bring consistent results.
Give Importance to Current Affairs The toppers regularly refer to keeping up-to-date with current affairs, which happens to be the most crucial part not only of the Preliminary but also of Mains and the Interview. Questions regarding national as well as international events are commonplace; therefore, updating yourself is of utmost relevance.
Sources of Current Affairs: The Hindu or Indian Express on a daily basis for news items. Government websites: PIB-Press Information Bureau. Current affairs monthly magazines: Yojana, Kurukshetra. Follow key debates in the Parliament and major National Programs. Toppers prescribe making short notes from these and going back to these notes during revisions. Institutes like tnpsc coaching centre in Coimbatore have classes specifically aimed at mastering current affairs.
Master the Art of Note-Making Note-making is a very critical element of effective revision and retention. The toppers of IAS quite often narrate how they could use some concise, clear notes to summarize all and make the revision easy in the last few weeks preceding the examination.
Key Tips for Note-Making: Big texts to be summarized into short bullet-point notes. Using different colored pens keeps things better organized. Keep updating the notes with important current affairs facts and figures regularly. Pro Tip: IAS toppers prefer digital notes for ease of updating and revision, but physical notebooks also are great.
Regular Answer Writing Practice That differentiates IAS toppers from all others is how they write. Mains is a subjective exam, and answer writing has to be practiced consistently to get that steady, compact response style.
How to Practice: Join a test series to get good feedback. Write at least 1 or 2 answers every day on whatever you study. A proper introduction, body and conclusion should be prepared for each answer. Many toppers join reputed coaching centres like TNPSC Coaching Centre in Coimbatore where they can attend answer writing sessions with good feedback for their improvement.
Give Importance to Mock Tests Mock tests for both Prelims and Mains are immensely crucial. They will be a guiding light on your preparation, pointing at your weaknesses and getting you accustomed to the stress of the actual exam.
Why Do Mock Tests Matter?
They will help you manage time effectively during the actual examination.
Whet critical thinking skills under pressure.
Help fine-tune preparation strategy by making a mistake analysis. IAS toppers take, on average, one mock test every week in the initial stages of preparation, and as time narrows between them and the exam date, the frequency increases.
Focus on Optional Subject Choosing the right optional subject brings a lot of difference in your Mains score. The optional subject constitutes 500 marks; hence, it is very important to choose a subject with which you are comfortable and interested.
How to Choose the Right Optional: Choose a subject that interests you and which you like studying, rather than only which is popular among students The material and resources should be available for study Success rate and Scoring can be seen by analyzing the trend of the optional subject. The leading coaching institutes like tnpsc coaching centre in Coimbatore offer counseling sessions in detail for choosing the right optional subject.
Revision is the Mantra Topper says that revision of class notes regularly is one of the mantras to success in the IAS exam. Multiple revisions help to retain a large amount of information, thereby making it easier to remember during the examination.
How to Plan Revision: Make a weekly revision schedule. Revise your class notes for each subject at least 2-3 times before the exam. Pay more attention while revising current affairs, NCERTs, and your optional subject. Through revision on a regular basis, the IAS toppers ensure that no part remains hidden or forgotten.
Keep a Positive Mind and Stress-free The length and difficulty of the IAS exam make it easy to overwhelm oneself. IAS toppers always talk of the need to keep a positive mindset throughout the preparation process.
Some Stress-Relieving Tips: Practice meditation or yoga in order to keep one's mind in tune. Take brief breaks in between extensive studying to get energized. Stay in close contact with friends and family who are emotional supports. A mind which is calm and composed attends the exam with confidence. Many toppers express their experiences about how being at ease helped them perform better during the actual exam.
Stay Consistent and Focused The IAS exam is really a marathon rather than a sprint. Consistency is the factor that creates a wedge between the toppers and others. Whether it is adhering to a daily study schedule or routine revision of notes, the IAS toppers feel there is a dire need for discipline.
How to Stay Consistent: Break down big goals into small, achievable milestones. Keep tracking your progress and realign your studying, if necessary. Keep your focus on the long-term goal even when motivational levels are low. Success means, in essence, putting up a well-planned study schedule, consistent efforts, and regular assessment. Many toppers at the tnpsc coaching centre, Coimbatore, will also agree with this. Conclusion Cracking the IAS exam is a challenge, but it is not impossible if one pursues some well-designed strategy. These top 10 tips from IAS toppers will help guide you with your preparation journey and keep you focused and organized. Remember that success comes only to those who are persistent, hardworking, and smart with their strategies.
If you need professional advice, then come aboard in tnpsc coaching centre Coimbatore, where academy professionals will extend mentoring through personalized coaching, test series, and study material, essential for keeping on the right track.

hello i'm back. with some??? tips??? you can reblog on a whim! if you come across your own post on the dashboard, you can just reblog it again! Or you can toss it in the queue, or schedule it! you can also go into your archive and find your posts and reblog that way! if you're worried about 'spamming' then feel free to make a tag that people can block! i use 'SRB' which stands for self reblog. many people use this tag or one similar or one all their own. if you don't want to think about it at all, i highly recommend scheduling your post for a few days/hours/weeks/months out from when you first post it. this shuffles the post into your queue (if you use one) for whatever time and date you pick. you can just pick wildly, you can math it out, whatever makes you comfy and ends with your work being put back on the dashboard. also, if you don't know what the Queue or Scheduled Posts are here is a quick break down:
Some quick explanations from the Tumblr Help Desk:
Queued posts help keep your blog active by staggering posts over a period of hours or days.
Scheduling a post sends it to your queue with a specific publishing time instead of following your regular queue posting program.
(If you're using xkit I assume you know how to queue and schedule posts, so this is for the folks who don't!)
Whenever you make a post for tumblr dot com, you get a big blue button that says Post! But it also has a drop down menu! (Oooh, drop down menus!) See below:
Tumblr media
In this menu we have the following:
Tumblr media
In this case, we are focusing on "Add to Queue" and "Schedule." Please note that this menu is the same when you are reblogging as well! If you hit "add to queue" the post will automatically enter your queue (more on this later) but if you hit Schedule it will give you a pop up where you can pick the date and time you want a post to... post. Or reblog, in this case!
Tumblr media
I just kind of scroll randomly on both of these menus and let it go. Once a post is Scheduled it can be found in your queue! If you already have a queue set up, the schedule post will be put between posts for the date/time you selected -- regardless of your queue rules. And you're done! You don't have to think about reblogging it yourself! In a few hours/days/weeks/months you will SRB your own post and put it back on the dashboard! And we get to see it again! Or maybe even for the first time!! A win for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
But Pigeon, you cry, how do I get to the queue!? No fear, my friend! The queue is but a few button clicks away. On the left hand side of the desktop you'll find these buttons! We want to click Account. This will unfold all your blogs, or just show your blog if you somehow only have one:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Don't look at my following don't worry about it I'm fine)
Now. Your queue is set up individually for each blog! So, click the blog that you want. This will bring you to a screen like this:
Tumblr media
I'm sure we're familiar with this screen! This is how you access your follower count, your drafts, and of course your queue. Click on queue and it will bring you to a screen that should look something like this in the middle:
Tumblr media
Up top are our queue rules! As you can see, my queue is set to post 10 queue'd posts a day between the hours of 11am and 11pm US Central Time! (You probably see me post a lot more, this is because I have a lot of free time (sometimes) during the work day! So I am reblogging on top of the queue. Not always! But often!) These rules only apply to posts you have queue'd! But, again, this is where you Scheduled posts will show up! For example, as you can see the next post in my queue will post on Friday at 3:21 PM Central time. If I scheduled a post for Friday at 3:25 pm I would find that immediately after this post. I am not a technical writer by any means but if you didn't know how to use these features before I hope you know now! Not everyone uses the queue, in fact I think most people don't. But I love it! I mostly use mine to reblog my own stuff, for aesthetic posts, but I also toss in other people's writing and screenshots and other content all the time! I, personally, love when a post of mine gets reblogged weeks later because it was sitting in someone's queue. It's always a little bursts of notes on a screenshot or writing that I loved and it often leads to me reblogging my own stuff!! I don't want to tell anyone what to do or how to use tumblr dot come. This is a social media site and you should be having fun here! But tumblr is one of the last social media sites that does not have an algorithm to run users dashboards. It does have algorithm type things that are opt-out, and many veteran users have, so it is important to 1. Reblog things you like! No one sees your likes unless they have that feature turned on or your likes are public and they're snooping. Likes are nice and I've never scoffed at seeing one and I'm sure no one else has! But Reblogs are what get a post under more eyes, you know?
2. REBLOG YOUR OWN WORK! You can determine how often and what you reblog of your own work!!! Did you post at a 'weird' time!? Reblog it! Did it not do as 'well' as you would have liked? Reblog it! Are you just super proud of the work you did? RE! BLOG! IT!
Anyway. This is so long, but I love you and your work and I'm so glad you shared it!
hey come here
reblog your own work. reblog it as much as you want. the dashboard is chronological (mostly) so you gotta put it back out there!! ok bye

Note to self-if you’re feeling emotionally sensitive and sleep deprived…just put your phone down and walk away…
Ok. Fully rested I’m a little well more than a little embarrassed about my dramatic over reaction to something so silly. Truthfully I’m not really a drama queen. I’m worse. I’m one of those slow burn kind of people that lets most things go until I don’t. And that the thing that set me off was basically a mean girl insignificant anon Dm is really going to bug me for a bit. This is my first fandom and it surprised me. I’m an Outlander fan and unlike my family and friends who don’t get it, my small group of outlander sisters do. And without any judgment when they see one of their own having a moment are quick to check in and support, and let you know maybe it’s time to put a line under this and get back to our regular scheduled programming. 🥹Thank you🤗. It’s great to see SH getting more recognition for his growing SS products and I think it’s getting to a point where it’s less about Outlander and more about the fact he is building his business with quality products. Like him or not SH has got to be one of the hardest working celebrities. I really enjoy all the press he’s doing but for the love of God what’s the deal with the black corduroy cap? I understand wearing it outside but it seems he does a lot of press indoors wearing said cap. I think we can agree his hair is looking great. I think the short style suits him. Where I come from once you get inside the cap comes off.Maybe the British are different. Also I’m starting to think SH’s announcement about the project he’s been working on that will be good for Scotland might have something to do with the environment. Can’t wait until lunch when I can scroll through your blogs and get caught up. I must say it feels good getting back to the really important things in life 🤣😉🙌…………💪😭!

It feels so good to be back on a pretty regular production schedule! Almost as good as it feels to go a round with Fisto!
The art this ish comes from @comrade-shrimp (art blog: @jepsxyhn), who did a great job with this issue, which is a lot more lighthearted than the previous one. I have so much love for them, and they brought so much necessary vibrancy to this issue; I've been wanting to experiment more with poppy, colorful backgrounds like this for a while, and they were an utter delight to work with. Everybody say “Thank you, Shrimp!” for doing such a spectacular job and for being so cool and nice.
Original Pencils (click for full size):
Since Shrimp took care of the art this time around, all I have are my original layouts for this issue, on top of which they worked their magic. These are really rough (and really old!) but I always really enjoy doing layouts like this for my guest artists. There’s definitely a certain charm to making something so intentionally loose and sketchy that still puts in as much detail as needed to get a good idea of what the final product will look like.
One minor but funny difference between my pencils and Shrimp’s art is on the third page, where Agnes is stomping away from Cass and FISTO. Originally, I had Agnes drawn with her arms thrown up in the air exasperatedly. However, when drawing at production scale, it was impossible to draw her like that without it looking like she was pretending to be an airplane and flying away.

Transcript:
INT. the run-down workshop of CERULEAN ROBOTICS in FREESIDE.
AGNES SANDS and ROSE OF SHARON CASSIDY stand in front of a PROTECTRON ROBOT encased in some sort of stasis capsule or holding dock.
AGNES: No. Absolutely not.
CASS: Do you want to get to Vegas or not? The Garrets are paying us more than enough caps to get past the credit check—all we need to do is get them new blood.
AGNES: It’s a robot. It doesn’t have blood.
CASS approaches a terminal attached to the ROBOT’S dock and flourishes a tape drive.
CASS: Well blood ain’t the most important bodily fluid for its line of work going forward.
CASS inserts the tape into the terminal with a chunky SLOT! sound.
CASS: Let’s wake it up already.
The terminal screen lights up, displaying console text: Operator Interface for Fully Integrated Security Technotronic Officer. Initializing Start-Up...Calibrating Protocol...
New data flushes into the ROBOT’s system as it awakes, coming to life with a deep, growing hum.
The dock’s display pane slides away, opening up for the ROBOT to step out and onto the floor of the workshop.
ROBOT: GREETINGS...I AM FISTO...AND I AM PROGRAMMED FOR YOUR PLEASURE.
CASS: Gets right down to business, doesn’t it?
AGNES: ...“Fisto?” Did you name it that?
CASS: No, must have been part of Ralph’s tape. Creative bastard.
FISTO: PLEASE ASSUME THE POSITION.
AGNES, unnerved, starts walking away.
AGNES: Fuck, that’s...skin-crawling. Let’s just bring it back to James already, okay?
CASS: Now hang on...
AGNES turns back around, in horror.
CASS is throwing herself at FISTO like a fawning supermodel, arm playfully draped around its “shoulders” and leg hoisted up against its chassis.
CASS: Aren’t you at least a little curious as to what this thing can do for a woman?
AGNES: Fuck no!! What’s wrong with you?
CASS: Come on, Agnes, loosen up a bit!
FISTO: FISTO OFFERS GREAT COUPLES RATES.
AGNES, reflexively, hovers her trembling hand just above her holstered pistol. She speaks through gritted teeth.
AGNES: Don't you dare bring that...that thing...that literally fucking thing anywhere near me.
CASS: Suit yourself—but I'll try anything once, and I'm not passing up a freebie when I see one.
AGNES makes a furious about-face and storms away from CASS and FISTO, heading out of the building.
AGNES: Fine!! Go fuck the robot! Have fun!
CASS: Oh we will, Agnes!
FISTO: ENGAGING CLIENT...DISPENSING MASSAGE OIL... (WHHHRR...)
EXT. CERULEAN ROBOTICS.
AGNES leans against the wall across the courtyard from the workshop entrance, smoking a cigarette. From the opposite door come the sounds of FISTO’s many “functions.”
SFX: SKREEEEEE, BEEP BEEP BEEP, SMAK, CLANK CLANK CLANK, DZZZZTTTT, SPLUT
Suddenly, the sounds cease, and it’s quiet in the courtyard. AGNES looks up.
CASS emerges from the workshop door. She’s out of breath, sweaty, and her face is deeply flushed. She has to lean against the door frame just to stand up.
CASS: Oh, man, Agnes—you, uh, wouldn’t happen to have any more cigarettes, would you?
AGNES scowls.

a/n: God this photo fucked me up good when I first saw it.
I saw this picture on my search for images for my last Todo post aaaaand yeah, pretty self explanatory. I got to thinking, what if this poor baby finally snapped one day and was like "FUCK ENDEAVOR AND HIS ENTIRE PROGRAM, IM NOBODY'S MASTERPIECE" and he went the complete opposite direction. So enjoy a little bit of OOC Todoroki and a bit of a longer post than my usual stuff!
I’m really really sorry about not updating in the past few days.  I was really swamped by college work and studying, and I was mentally exhausted and physically tired every day.  Today wasn’t my day and I almost had a breakdown because a lot of things piled up in me, but I had to pull myself together somehow.  Hopefully, after this week, I’ll go back to a somewhat regular posting schedule.  Thanks for being patient with me guys, I really appreciate it :)
When my mom told me Shouto will be going to the same high school as me, I was expecting the same buttoned-up, shy, good boy from elementary school.  Oh boy, was I wrong.
The boy I bump into in the hallway definitely looks like Shouto, but the only thing that's the same is his mismatched hair and eyes.  Everything else about him was much different.  His entire energy was different, even from the fraction of a second I focused on his face.
"Shouto?" I call when he's about to brush past me.
I don't think he's expecting someone to know him on the first day, pausing and looking down curiously.
The most shocking feature of all is the scar on his left side, a red blotch that covers the left side of his face, starkly contrasting his brilliant turquoise eye; a single ray of light in a scarlet sky.
As I'm gaping at the puckered skin, his eyebrows furrowing at my face as recognition slowly dawns on him.  "(Y/n)?"
I'm relieved that he at least remembers me.  "Yeah, hey."  I don't really know what to do now.  My first instinct is to hug him, but something tells me he isn't a fan of that sort of thing anymore.  There's a coldness between us that's thick as a knife.  "How have you been?"
"Fine," he answers curtly.  His hands are stuffed into his pockets, leaning back in a way that seems uncharacteristic of him and more like a ruffian.
Does his not want to talk to me?  I don't blame him, I haven't been in his life for a good eight years.  "How are your parents?"
His jaw clenches.  "Fine."
Oh.  I struck a nerve.  "Do you wanna catch up at lunch?  What class are you in?"
"1-A."  Overjoyed that we share the same class, I'm about to open my mouth, but he interjects, "But I don't think we should talk."  That was the last thing he said before he strolls past me.
I'm stunned, following his receding back through the sea of students.  I guess I shouldn't have brought up his parents when I know it's a sensitive topic, but I didn't know what else to say.  And it's probably awkward to see someone you used to be close to talk to you again, but the least he could've been is polite.  That's saying something, because Shouto was always the polite child.
Something is terribly wrong here.
Shouto has definitely changed since we were younger.  He's become a delinquent.
He never even shows up to class.  After our little encounter, he was slumped in his seat until the teacher finished role call, then he just got up and walked out in the middle of class and never came back.  In all the days after that, his seat remained empty even at the beginning of the day.
At first, I gave him the benefit of the doubt.  What if he happened to get sick and had to stay home?  Then I saw his signature mismatched tuft of hair walking back home in the school yard, and I knew he was skipping.
After a whole two weeks passed of him skipping, I had enough.  The Shouto I know would never cut class even if his life depended on it.  During lunch, I went looking for him in the group of other delinquent kids in the back of the school.
"Todoroki?" the ash-blond ringleader ruffles his hair and scoffs, "Idiot must be off somewhere by himself like the damn loner he is.  He picked a fight with me and I almost beat his ass into oblivion!"
I ball my fists up, more angry at Shouto than the group of boys eyeing me like a pack of wolves.  "You guys are useless," I mumble, about to turn away from them.
"Aww, is he your boyfriend, sweetie?" the honey blond with a black streak in his hair smoothly wraps an arm around me.  "He probably doesn't care about you, you deserve someone else who'll give you his time."
"Fuck off, who said you can touch me?"  I shove his arm away and step back.
"Calm down there," the red head with sharp teeth taunts with a smirk, "You're getting a bit defensive.  You sure you don't need help looking for your little prince?"
"I'm fine on my own, thanks," I huff, turning around to go look for Shouto elsewhere.
"Maybe I'll come with you," the overly-friendly boy blocks my way again.  "If he's not your boyfriend, maybe we can get together sometime?"
"Not interested.  Out of my way, Pikachu reject."  I try to side-step him, but the leader grabs the back of my collar and whips me around so I'm face to face with his bared teeth.
"You're a bit rude, aren't you?  Should I pull your head out your ass for you?"  His crimson eyes glare his murderous intent into me.
I hold my ground, the anger against my irresponsible friend more powerful than any fear of this hothead possibly hurting me.  "Don't act so tough if your talk is cheap."
He cracks his knuckles without breaking eye contact with me.  "I'll show you cheap talk.  Try waking up next week after I'm done with you!" he snarls.
I mirror his expression.  I don't mind throwing hands at this guy if I have to, blood rushing through me to prepare for the fist fight.  "I dare you-!"
"Enough, (Y/n)."
I can feel his presence right behind me even though he doesn't physically touch me.
Scarlet eyes shift behind me.  "Took you long enough, hot shot.  Your friend has just as much spunk as you, I'll kick both your asses!"
"I'd like to see you try, Bakugou," Shouto responds coldly.  "We both know who'd win."  Keeping his gaze locked on the aggressive male, he harshly grabs my arm and hauls me away.  "Let's go."
I'm fuming with anger when we're back inside the building.  I turn on him when he finally releases me, but he's already starting down the hall.  "Don't walk away from me!  We need to talk!"  I stomp over, following him to an abandoned classroom.  "What the hell is wrong with you?!  First of all, you were a real ass when I talked to you last week.  Second of all, you're not even coming to class like you should.  And now you're already picking fights with that idiot out there?  What's gotten into you Shouto?!"
"You were about to get into a fight as well.  You should thank me," he comments coldly, slipping into a desk with books open on top.
"I could've handled it just fine without you!  The only reason I was even there talking to them was because I was looking for you!"  I hover over him, glaring down so he can tell how angry I am.  "You'e skipped class all week, this isn't like you at all!  How are you supposed to catch-?"
One glance down the the open books shows all the material we've been going over in class.  He's already caught up to today's lesson, writing notes in his book and ignoring my presence.  The entire setup makes me angrier.  "I don't understand you, Shouto.  What kind of act are you trying to pull?  You're not a delinquent, why are you trying to act like one for everyone else?   Or is this all because you're just trying to ignore me?"
His pencil stops moving and it slams down onto the desk.  "A lot happened since you left, (Y/n)," the boy responds.  His quivering voice indicates restriction of intense emotion.
The hurt is apparent across his entire face, calming me down.  My gaze lingers on the left side of his features, over the eye that somehow looks perpetually sad.  "How did you get that scar, Shouto?"
The boy's eyebrows furrow.  "My father never let up on me after you left, and he got worse.  My mother couldn't handle fighting him on her own anymore.  One day, she snapped, told me how unsightly my left side was, and pouring boiling water over my face."  His large hand gingerly covers his reddened skin.  "And my bastard father put her in a mental institution after that.  He did this."
My heart aches for my childhood friend, the boy I took care of and listened to all his problems.  I can't imagine how much pain Rei was going through.  For her to have lost it, she must've held such a heavy burden.  When I had to move away, I felt so guilty about leaving him with all his troubles.  He had no one else to reach out to and it was snatched from him.  There wasn't a day I stopped thinking and worrying over him.  I reach to take his hand and offer comfort.  "Shou-"
Shouto bolts up from his seat, his taller figure hunching over mine, features screwed up in distaste.  "You weren't there when I needed you most."
I'm taken back, hurt more than anything.  "It's not my fault, we were so much younger, I didn't have a choice but to go with my parents."
A dark chuckle erupts from his lips, dismissing my excuses.  "It's fine.  It happened, I've learned to deal with it."
I'm about to blow my top with this kid.  "Yeah, you've dealt really well, haven't you?" I roll my eyes.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
My mouth gapes, letting out a sputtered scoff.  "You're kidding.  Just look at you!  You're pretending to be someone you're not!  You and I both know you were never the bad boy type when we were kids.  You're the slightly awkward, naturally smart, driven, hardworking-"
"I was only those things because my father forced them on me," he passes by me, crossing his arms.  "I don't want to be anything that bastard wants anymore.  And if you can't see that, then we were never friends in the first place."
That's a stab in the chest.  How can he say that we were never friends when we used to do everything together?  A surge of fury rushing through me, I grab his arm to keep him from moving any farther.  "You love watching superhero cartoons, your favorite was All Might.  Sometimes, you're so damn lazy that instead of doing homework when you came home, you would sneak in a nap before your dad came home to see you slacking off.  Your favorite food in the entire world is cold soba.  You don't like extremely sweet desserts.  You've always been insecure about how strange your mismatched hair and eyes look, but I always had to assure you that you're still the most handsome guy in our class."
Shouto halfway turns around to look at me.
"If we weren't friends, why do I know so much about you?"  I take another bold step towards him, softening at the underlying pain etched into his features.  "I know you always hated the way your dad expects so much from you.  The only thing you ever wanted in your childhood was to be normal.  The pressure finally crumbled down on you and your mom, and I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you through it.  But you shouldn't abandon everything that you are.  You took after your mom more than your dad; you're sometimes a sassy son of a bitch, but you're kind and have a deep respect for people you admire.  You have a natural sense of humor that you don't even know you have.  You care about the people you're close to, you only struggle with communicating how you feel sometimes."
His lips part slightly, processing everything I just showered onto him.  Guilt eventually creeps up on him, choosing to rub the back of his neck.  "You...always did know just what to say."
I smirk and engulf him into my long-awaited hug.  "Who else would put you back in your place?"
His arms hesitantly wrap around my body, the act of sharing body warmth strange yet familiar to him.  It's a small victory, but I'm relieved that we're back on speaking terms.  I'm ready to resume protecting him as I should.
Shouto shifts in our embrace.  "You said...I struggle with telling people how I feel...?" he mumbles sheepishly near my ear.
My boy perks with confusion.  "Yeah, even when we first-"
"Would it suffice if..."
Before I can turn to search his face for what he could be implying, his grip around me loosens as he pulls back to look at me, one of his warm hands resting against my cheek.  His face looms right in front of me, my breath catching in surprise, before he presses his lips to mine softly.  The weightlessness in my stomach is unmistakable.
As quick and unexpected as it came, it also left, Shouto's half lidded gaze resting on me from a small distance away.  All I can do is stare off dazed, still trying to process what just happened.
He leans back against the nearest desk in the front row.  "I guess I should've asked first."  I can see his cheeks and his ears turn almost as flushed as the color of his hair despite his hand covering half his face to hide it.  "But it was the only way I can think to get my point across without stumbling over words."
My heart still flutters trying to recover back to normal, my knees shaking as I lean against the teacher's desk for stability.  I resist the urge to touch my lips like a shocked schoolgirl, but I'm still trying to process the whole thing.  "You know," I cough, "We did already kiss when we were like...five, so this wasn't really our first.  But I don't usually count that-"
The intense color fades from his face almost at once, a darkness creeping into his gaze.  "Then," he pins me back into the desk, hands on both sides of the wood to trap me, "I shouldn't have any qualms about doing it again."
Contrasting from his strong setup, his next kiss is still shy and hesitant.  After exchanging a couple more tentative lip-caresses that still make my head spin, he's gotten his feet wet enough to go harder, establishing a rhythm between us.  As his kisses intensify, his hands reach up to cup both sides of my nape, fingers tangling in my hair desperately and tilting my head up for a better angle.  My own hands grasp the collar of his uniform, pulling him closer into the heat of the moment.
His body pushes me practically into sitting on top of the desk, moving one of his knees between my legs as he lets ones of his hands roam down to grip my waist.  The sudden tug elicits a minute gasp, allowing Shouto to nip at my bottom lip before tugging my head back to trail soft kisses down my jaw.  My fingers thread through his soft locks, letting him massage my neck with his mouth.
"W-Where did you learn all this?" I breathe out unsteadily, my breath refusing to return.
He straightens up and captures my lips in another slow kiss.  "You'll never know."  Another one.  "I've admittedly imagined this for a while."  The next kiss is much deeper, a hum vibrating from his chest as his fingers dig into my side again.  "You're special, so dear."  His mumbles between kisses become more incoherent as his kisses become messy.
"Shouto."  I finally manage to push him away for me to breathe and calm my dizzy head.  Both of us are panting.  His half-lidded eyes and flushed face tempt me, but the fear of someone walking by suddenly alerts in my mind.  "Someone might see us.  Besides, isn't there something you need to say?"
His brow lifts.  "I'm...sorry for being rude to you last week."
"That was needed, too," I chuckle, "But there's something else."
Confusion crosses his features.  "Have I done something else wrong?"
My hands slide down to grip his hands.  "Don't you need to ask me to date you officially?"
The tint of rose on his cheeks intensifies a shade.  "I thought it was clear already..."
Another chuckle bubbles from my lips and I lean up to kiss his warm cheek.  "I'll let it pass because I want to date you too."  His face begins to light up in joy, but I push off from the desk and tow him out of the room.  "But you have to start coming to class again."
Shouto catches up to keep pace with me and presses a kiss to my forehead.  "Done."
"And you need to see a therapist, Mr. Bad Boy."
He breaks out into a smile at that nickname.  "I'll think about it."

How to make your fleet management business COVID proof business
Earlier this year, COVID19 broke into our lives and left a trail of disasters. Businesses came to a halt, especially those involving people walking out of their homes. Rental taxi services, which were buzzing states with the excitement of the IoT led to it have been among those heavily affected.
For those unfamiliar with the term, IoT stands for Internet of Things. The term was coined to refer to the practice of equipping ordinary devices with an Internet connection and making it part of a network of devices capable of exchanging information in real time. The technology itself is nothing new, it is the possibilities that have arisen. open thanks to this powerful coupling between the internet and everyday devices that made it so exciting.
Tumblr media
Today, it's a lifesaver, both for people and for businesses helping people earn a living. of the pandemic, fleet management had begun to be revolutionized using the principles of IoT, cloud computing and GPS. It's a much-needed respite for fleet managers who struggle hard to plan and choose an optimal route.
Now, it's helping us get back on our wheels towards COVID-proof fleet management services so that fleet operators, businesses, employees and drivers can rebuild.
So how exactly does it do this?
It does this by automatic route optimization Optimized routes involve the inclusion of as many scheduled stops in the minimum number of vehicles as possible while respecting the COVID protection rules Lives and livelihoods are saved in this way
Let's give a look at some of the most important challenges facing the fleet after covid19 and how we can overcome them
Budget control
Financial setbacks resulting from the pandemic have tightened budgets everywhere. Fortunately, we have the technology to use resources at an optimal level. Cloud-based apps such as SafeBus and Safetrax hosted by Autologix has a feature called auto-routing which automatically generates the fastest and safest route which efficiently covers all programmed locations using the minimum numb Auto-routing filters are flexible and therefore customizable. You can easily control your budget while still providing excellent services to all your clients.
Engine checks
Whenever a car on a ship has a problem, they are forced to stay on the road and reduce maintenance until it is repaired This is called ship repair on time. it is so expensive that it needs to be handled with care. Inspecting the vehicle, checking it all the time, and working can go a long way to prevent time lapse. Time ahead means more value than we are working to improve vessel control over time. if you detect anything running or turning suddenly, it may detect an intoxicating driver who has a fingerprint scanner for privacy oil. you can steer the drivers or take the right thing without question insurance Se telematics technology to manage your boat. For COVID19, you have the benefit of hindsight of making sure that regular financial audits and social interactions are conducted seamlessly. it almost blocked some places.
Monitoring
Your mechanized armada the executives programming tracks each vehicle progressively as well as intently screens driver conduct to take note of any cases of speeding, unexpected turns, or abrupt use of brakes. It can distinguish an alcoholic driver with sensors that investigate fingertips for oil emissions. With a particularly postgraduate education of detail in checking, you can mentor drivers or make a suitable move with an undeniable confirmation. Insurance agencies by and large offer limits on expenses on the off chance that you use telematics innovation to deal with your armada. For COVID19, you have the additional advantage of guaranteeing that customary temperature checks and social separating are in effect regularly rehearsed as a matter of course.
Coronavirus Hotspots
Dodge Coronavirus hotspots adequately by utilizing the geofencing highlight. Geofencing includes basically bolting endlessly a specific area. With constant updates about Coronavirus improvements in specific zones, geo-fencing can be actuated so that if a driver attempts to enter a confined way, an alarm is sent promptly to move administrators.
Presently, like never before is an ideal opportunity to make the move from manual armada the executives to computerized advanced ones. It will set aside time and cash effectively, while leaving Covid-19 speechless, and bring your business back in transit to benefit and achievement.

Intro Part 3
Applying for FMLA and Reasonable Accommodations
We rejoin the story from a previous post. Picture Summer 2020.
The process of applying for FMLA is difficult; logistically there is a lot to do, a lot of people to talk to. Emotionally it is a lot too. It is easy to feel invalidated and humiliated by all the checking to see if you are “sick enough” to take time off. I got caught in that. I almost backed out, backed down from that fight because I felt so invalidated and weak; I didn’t feel like my bosses believed me, I didn’t believe me some of the time. The process was a test of my self-worth; was I worth the fight, was my care worth this? I ended up affirming to myself that it was going to be worth it almost every time I questioned myself, but it was a hard couple of weeks.
Once I got the paperwork through, I felt a sense of relief. I was going to get the rest, the break, the pause I needed. I spent a lot of time trying to rest and learning more about its importance, what it means for me, and how to do it (more on this later). But unfortunately, part of the point of the time off was doing a lot of internal work. I dreaded it, but I also spent a lot of time thinking in depth about what I had been experiencing, what lead to it, what I needed to make this work sustainable, what would be ideal versus what would be practical, what I wanted in my life and what I didn’t (more on this later too).
At the end of my time off I scheduled a meeting with my bosses to talk about coming back and what had contributed to why I had to take time off. I wrote down bullet points, I practiced what I was going to say. I prepped myself for being firm with the boundaries I was going to set.
Aaaand, the meeting did not go “well.” Going into the meeting I didn’t feel like I was expecting the world, but I had the assumption that they would hear what I had to say, and really take to heart my perspective and struggle. I assumed that when administrators say they care about your mental health and how you are doing, they mean it. This was not the case.
They either didn’t or couldn’t really hear my concerns and struggles which was infinitely disappointing. We fundamentally disagree(d) on what the problem was/is. Something that I feel is unremarkably common happened: I was made to feel like the problem was me, and I had to figure out “if this is the right place for you if you can’t meet these expectations,” while I saw that their expectations were unreasonable. I learned that they saw me (consciously or unconsciously) as dysfunctional therapy bot, expendable, a means to make money for the agency and this was now in jeopardy; they either needed to get me out of the way or get me back in line. It is something that happens in a lot of big agencies, and I ultimately blame capitalism. (How to think about, plan for and deal with this common issue will be addressed in another post, also because I spent a lot of time thinking about it.)
That whole meeting was a lot to process, it was a hard set of realizations to come to terms with. It took me a while to figure out what the hell just happened and where to go from there. I didn’t really know what to do, but I knew I had a lot of choices and decisions I had to make. Again, myself-worth was questioned; was I worth fighting this fight? Yes, I had to do something, or I wasn’t going to make it. I decided to work with the human resources department on how to get a reasonable accommodation regarding what I had brought up to my bosses in our meeting. This again was a long process, there were many forms, people to talk to, even more questions about if I was “sick enough” to warrant these accommodations. It was exhausting and at times made me feel humiliated. I felt weak for needing to go through this process.
Nevertheless, I started back to work having started the reasonable accommodations process and by the end of August, I was approved for the accommodations I asked for, and now, the beginning of October, the requests have been made into action.
I have learned a few things from this whole process specifically:
1.       Even though advocating for yourself and reaching out for help can be scary and can feel like a giant mistake, reaching out is not always in vain. While I am stuck in a job that is less than ideal in more ways than one, with immediate supervisors who are not supportive, there are also other people who can and do support me when I ask for it, and there are things that can make the job easier.
 2.       When some people do not or cannot supply the help and support you need and ask for, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have it, don’t deserve it, or that you were wrong to ask. Asking for support and help from the right people is key to getting it.
Aaand a bunch of other things…During this whole process, through all the thinking and research I have come to a lot of conclusions and all I want to do is share them. That’s why this is a blog; I wish other people knew all of the things I have learned, and I want to help those who need it.
On Struggling with Mental Health Issues as a Mental Health Professional
There is a lot of stigma around mental health, just in general, like for “regular people” let alone for mental health professionals. It’s funny that there is an implicit assumption that mental health professionals have it all together, that we don’t need help. Even amongst ourselves, we don’t talk about it openly (maybe some people do, I talk about it with people I trust, but its not widely talked about it my experience). It feels like admitting to colleges that yes, I go to therapy, I have depression, anxiety, PTSD, and past disordered eating is a borderline revolutionary act. It feels like I am making headway in some weird way in this intra-field battle against stigma of mental health issues of professionals in the field. It shouldn’t be that way, especially amongst ourselves as professionals. We of all people do not believe the stigma associated with mental health for others, why is it so hard for ourselves?
Why is it so hard to admit we aren’t ok? Is it really stigma or are there other components to it? Is it like if we aren’t ok we cant help others, if we aren’t ok we are imposters? Is it just easier to focus on the problems of others than to focus on ourselves? (By “we” I mean “I”).
I firmly believe I have to walk the walk. If I tell people that there is no shame in struggling and needing help, but I do not also ask for help, or advocate for myself and for what I need, then I am the last thing I want to be, a hypocrite. Part of why I went through with the FMLA and the reasonable accommodations process was because it’s what I would advise a client to do; they have those rights and protections, they deserve to have what they need. I don’t know why, but it felt like a bigger deal for me to do this as a mental health professional and it shouldn’t be. While it felt like my supervisors just expected me to just be “ok” with whatever was happening or with whatever they asked, there shouldn’t be this double standard for me to be more “ok” than a “normal person” because I am a professional.
[On a related note (this touches on a topic that will be expanded on later, but is relevant now), It feels like they don’t think about the real-life consequences of their decisions or actions on those who are most effected, their staff, this is an issue that arises in various mental health programs. As a behavioral health program, shouldn’t we also walk the walk by having a healthy and emotionally safe work environment where the staff’s mental health is cared for and considered when making policy decisions? When confronted with how me and my mental health has been affected by their actions and decisions, they were unable to admit the role they played and instead and turned it around on me and how I was not doing enough of whatever I needed to perform higher (which is such a high level of hypocrisy it makes me laugh). It sucks and is not ok that instead of being validated that what they are asking is too much for people in general, it comes down to me being the problem. It sucks that for me to get what I needed, I had to admit that I am in effect too sick or “too weak” to live up to these supposedly reasonable expectations.]
I guess all of this comes down to the fact that I feel shame in not being able to fill the expectations. I feel weak because I couldn’t hack it like I thought I could, like I thought I should be able to. There are external things that add to that shame, but it is also self-inflicted. I feel it about myself and that is the problem.
What I want you to take away from this story:
I do not want others to get caught in this trap unaware, I want you to know what to expect, to have a non-idealized vision of this work, what red flags to look out for. I want you to know that if/when you get caught in a toxic work environment and you are struggling to meet unreasonable expectations that you are not always the problem. I want you to know that it is reasonable to expect that you will struggle with some sort of mental health concern as a practitioner and that it’s necessary to talk about it, and advocate for what you need to be ok.

How To Manage Time and Work Like A Boss
I’ve been a teacher for nearly thirty years now, and so I should be red hot at knowing how to manage time. After all, the average classroom teacher regularly has so many plates spinning on a daily basis that every limb is a whirling blur in perpetual motion. Experience has taught me that allowing even one plate to go gyrating off its axis can bring chaos and catastrophe for the whole delicately balanced collection.
Blogging
But this blogging malarkey- well, that’s different. And I’m finding the whole issue of time management more challenging than I’d anticipated, to be completely honest. I mean, thinking about the whole idea of becoming a blogger was…well- just fantastic, really. I love writing, and blogging means that I can write about stuff that really interests me, and never again have to write about things that just don’t.
Primary School Teacher
To clarify what I’m talking about, you may not know this, but the average primary school classroom teacher is obliged to take an interest in such mind-numbing subjects as: rocks and soils, units of measure ( both metric and imperial), adverbial phrases and subordinating and coordinating conjunctions. Admit it- you’re bored already! Imagine having to feign interest in that lot- and a whole host of even more boring topics besides- for nearly thirty years! I don’t know how I’ve done it!
Working From Home
So, what I thought was: become a blogger: write about interesting things, things that get my fingers positively sparking over the laptop key board: it’ll be great! Hey- and you get to do it from home, and manage your own time! Goodbye M6! Goodbye difficult parents! Ta-ta to staff meetings and professional development and tedious meetings about assessment. No more report writing- hurray!!
This will be the new pattern of my Week
Monday morning: awakened at 7am by the alarm- no more 6:30 for me anymore! Up, dressed, breakfast and ready at my laptop to report for writing duty by 8:30 am at the latest.
Straight into writing/ preparing next blog post.
Timetable
9:30 am: take first break: wee, coffee, throw the ball for the dog in the garden for around 20 minutes, then back to the keyboard to work steadily through until lunch at around 12:00.
12:00 healthy lunch put together: salad, hummus, green stuff- that sort of thing- and eaten before 1pm before returning to the laptop for another hour’s work. That hour will be spent emailing, and suchlike.
FREE TIME!
2pm-5:00 FREE TIME! Wow! The whole afternoon off!!
Obviously ,this precious time will not be frittered away on any kind of pointless activities: no, it will be utilised for exercise, dog-walking and attending classes that I’ve really wanted to attend but have always been otherwise occupied teaching PE, the Egyptians or subordinate clauses or suchlike. No, now I will spend my afternoons attending French conversation sessions, singing, creative writing workshops and book clubs. I may even join a hiking club and enjoy hiking in the nearby Lake District.
5pm: teatime. Evenings will be spent working on my blog business- no more than an hour or so- and then I’ll actually go out: live music, pubs, the theatre, meals out- whatever I want, because there are no lessons to plan for the next day- and certainly no marking. Fantastic!!
Manage Time?
It’ll be a joy! No more telling myself I’ll do an hour’s marking, then I’ll fill in those assessment tables and then I’ll spend another hour and half preparing tomorrow’s lessons, before……..NO MORE, No more for me!
So, you’re asking, has it worked out like that?
Well, the fact is that I’m still teaching at the moment, so haven’t had the chance to try out this new lifestyle which I have planned out for myself just yet; but I’m having this creeping suspicion that I’m not going to be able to live that life exactly to plan.
Deadlines
Why not? Well, I guess I kind of like deadlines- I am programmed to respond to them anyway. I was always that one who started working on my essays well before the deadline at university, so that I had plenty of time. I was never the last minute panic type-no, I kind of used the whole two weeks preparation time to get pages of notes together and then panic over the last few days about how I was going to create anything of any value out of all that stuff.
Being My Own Boss
What worries me now, is that, as a blogger, working on my own blog, I am going to have to impose my own deadlines, and I’m not convinced that I’ll be all that good at it. It’s that thing about being my own boss- in one way, it’s what we dream of, but in another way it’s kind of scary. I mean, when you’re at work and things go tits up, the boss is ultimately the one who has to take it on the chin- not you. But if you are your own boss, and things don’t go right- well……it’s all your fault.
How To Manage Time and Work Like A Boss
So, before I cut the umbilical cord of a regular job and life pattern, I’ve been researching some hints and tips from the experts about time management- I’m in my note-taking preparation stage.
Find Your Most Productive Hours
Now, there’s a great idea! Work out when you are generally at your most productive and schedule most of your heavy lifting tasks for those times. A  first rate tip for time management- after all, how many people have you heard declare themselves a ‘night owl’ or ‘an early bird’? Loads, right?
Night Owl, or Early Bird?
So obviously that got me to thinking about myself: am I a night owl, or an early bird? A night owl, probably, because I’m used to working in the evenings after school. OK, so save all the deep-thinking stuff for the evenings. Yes…..possible, I guess.
Write a to-do List the Night Before
Undeniably a top idea! Apparently, only takes about five minutes and it means that the next day you can hit the ground running without any fiddling about. Hmmm, so- five minutes before bedtime…just a quick list…
You know what that would mean for me? Five minutes writing, followed by 45 minutes lying awake thinking it all through. Sleep well and up at 7:00 am to hit the ground running? Not on your nelly.
Back to the drawing board…next tip for how to manage time, please?
Start on the Most Critical Task First
Yes….now, that’s good….I get that. Get the thing that’s bothering you most out of the way first thing and you’re bound to feel better about yourself and what you can achieve.
Now that makes perfect sense! Thing is….that’s just not me. No, better for me to get a few little things ticked off my list first to get me stoked up with enough confidence to bring out the big guns and get cracking on those tasks that are going to CHANGE MY LIFE.
Sit down at my laptop and hit myself straight between the eyes with something that scares the pants off me and has probably kept me awake ever since I wrote it down on that to-do list the night before? That just ain’t happening.
Next hint, please….
The Eisenhower Matrix
What d’you mean- you’ve never heard of it? Well, I’m not a fan of tables, because they bring out all my twitches, but this one makes perfect sense- you may want to look it up. In essence, the idea is that you write down all the tasks you need to do- in one, long, terrifying list- then you categorise all the tasks. If it’s urgent, mark it ‘U’, if it’s important, mark it ‘I’, and if it’s neither of those, then cross it out.
Still following me?
Next, you evaluate how much time each of the remaining tasks on your list is likely to take and arrange a plan for yourself. Now, I must admit, I’m liking this idea of time management…especially the stuff that you can cross off the list altogether. The aim is to identify your genuine priorities: which tasks on your list are going to get you to achieve your objective the most quickly, and which, simply, are not.
Like it. Yes, this is one for me! Next tip, please…..
Use Time Constraints- Set a Timer
This tip to help you to manage your time advises using a timer to set time to achieve certain tasks, as the task will inevitably expand if there is an unrestrained time in which to do it. The idea is to beat the timer- complete the task in even less time than that which you allocated!
Hmm. Have I not escaped the 5-9 to escape exactly that- time constraints? The school timetable is gone, so I devise one of my own? Not sure I want to do that to myself, although I do understand the benefits of this time management idea, and every task does undoubtedly expand if there are no constraints in terms of time.
Hmm… I need to think this one through…….and while I’m thinking about it I might just make another cup of coffee and put a load of washing on…maybe iron those few shirts? Watch a bit of TV?
No, Christine, you’re talking about being productive, remember? Now, sit down and just get on with it.
Next hint to ace time management, please.
No Distractions
No browsing your ‘phone, checking through emails, doing odd bits of housework. Now I have struggled with this trick of how to manage time, but have actually had a breakthrough in recent weeks.
What has worked for me, is to go out of the house- no dog wanting to play, no endless possibilities for making coffee and no housework-style responsibilities. The other benefit of being out of the house-for me- is no silence.
Silence
I’m not very happy with silence- it makes me a bit edgy. Never been very productive working in libraries and such places. However, it’s no good putting on music either, because then I start listening to that instead of concentrating on the job in hand.
Coffee Shops
I’ve found that coffee shops are my perfect place for productivity. Not only is there the gorgeous aroma of freshly-ground coffee beans wafting up my nose, but there’s just the right kind of background noise- neither too loud nor too silent to distract me. Obviously, a great cup of cappuccino also enhances the whole experience.
If you would like to learn more about how to manage time, and tips that you could use to improve your own productivity, then take a look at this excellent article by Dan Silvestre: ’23 Time Management Techniques of Insanely Busy People.’

Shhhhh.
Mum’s the word! A few weeks ago in this blog, I mentioned that we’re working on a bunch of secret projects that for one reason or the other we can’t announce as yet. But that we’re going to announce during the year as we can, particularly at conventions as we attend them.
(Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th Edition is not one of them. Saying that now, because I know how rumors start.)
This is why we have what appears to be a lighter than normal First Draft section below in the Blurbs!.
But now it’s time to reveal one of these projects!
This Wednesday, the Phone PDF version of Scion Origin goes on sale on DTRPG! If you had a chance to check out the free Pugmire core Phone PDF, then this version of Scion Origin is based off of that process and set-up. Hyper-linked out the wazoo for ease of use, but still containing all the great info and art of the regular PDF and print versions.
Here’s some info about Phone PDFs from DTRPG:
Using a Phone PDF
Phone PDFs are designed so you can quickly navigate them by touch using links in the PDF, instead of relying upon bookmarks or other navigation. Look for the Quick Links menu at the front of the book to give you links to touch to reach the most often referenced parts of the book. Links in the footer of each page help you easily navigate through the PDF.
Navigating the Pugmire Phone PDF
Some of the link navigation in the Phone PDF file works better in certain readers.
If you’re on iOS, we recommend the Apple’s Books reading app (which comes on every Apple phone) as it supports the Back navigation links in the Phone PDF. If you’re on Android, then we recommend grabbing the free Xodo reader app as that reader has a built in Back function which will jump back one link. This is a handy feature when touch navigating through the Phone PDF (no PDF viewers we’ve tested on Android natively support the Back navigation links in the Phone PDF so Xodo‘s Back function is the next best thing).
When we put up the Pugmire Phone PDF, there were a few demands that we investigate ePub as a format for this rather than PDFs. Long time readers of this blog know that we have, in fact, been working with ePub for years, trying to find a way for it to allow us to present our projects with the same usability and beauty as we have ported from physical books to PDFs. So far, there just hasn’t been a way to produce something that will hold charts and visuals the way we need them.
Maybe someday, as we keep pecking away at it. But that day is not today. Today we had an opportunity to create a phone-based version of a core rulebook, and we did that. One does not preclude the other ever happening, and now we have a very user friendly hand-held electronic version that is still very much recognizable as Scion Origin.
V5 Chicago Folio art by Michele Giorgi
Of course, this week’s headline also refers to our ongoing Mummy: The Curse 2nd Edition Kickstarter as it approaches the two week mark and 200% funding with almost 1000 backers. We’re thrilled and gratified at the reaction the book is receiving, and we’re REALLY looking forward to hitting more Stretch Goals that start creating extra projects to expand this new version of Mummy.
If you just aren’t sure it’s your cup of tanis leaves, please check out the last several weeks’ blogs, or last Friday’s Onyx Pathcast, or one of the many interviews developer Matthew Dawkins has given out, or one of the actual plays linked below in the Media section.
In fact, you can ask Matthew all of your Mummy 2e questions on our Onyx Path forums, right here on this site, as he prepares for a Twitch Q&A planned for 15:00 EST / 21:00 GMT on Tuesday 19th: http://forum.theonyxpath.com/forum/main-category/main-forum/the-new-world-of-darkness/mummy-the-curse/1348728-mummy-the-curse-twitch-q-a-questions-thread
Deviant: The Renegades art by Michael Gaydos
One question you might ask Matthew is how he managed to make sure that the Timeless Chronicle (the subtitle of the game) was included in the book. I hear that it was something that permeated every decision, yet at the book’s earliest stage wasn’t actually directly written about. An oversight Matthew messaged someone not-me about:
“…failed to add the Timeless bit.”
And then he added, after making sure that the book actually did directly address and include that Chronicle:
“I won’t tell Rich if you won’t”.
What a rapscallion! (This info, by the way, was revealed during last Friday’s Onyx Pathcast deep dive into Mummy 2e because Matthew thinks I don’t listen every week).
But Judge Rich, you might say, “Traitorous minions aside, what if I can’t make it to that Q&A, plus I’m more interested in other Chronicles of Darkness games, or Exalted, or V5, or Scion. Whatever can I do?”
Well, I have good news! We’re running an Onyx Path AMA on Reddit on Wednesday November 27th starting at 12 noon Eastern US time and running until ya’ll run out of questions. It’ll be labelled more for Chronicles of Darkness questions, I think, but bring and ask whatever you’re into.
More news on that next week and on our various and many social media venues!
Memento Mori art by Drew Tucker
When we talk of social media, it’s often with a sort of worst expectations mind-set, but just a few years ago a post led to a viral campaign to celebrate a brand new holiday: Wolfenoot. This is an annual festival which commemorates the anniversary of The Great Wolf’s death. The holiday is observed on November 23. According to tradition, during Wolfenoot the Spirit of the Wolf brings small gifts to homes and hides them around the house for everyone. People who display kindness to dogs receive better gifts than everyone else.
The holiday was created by a 7-year-old boy in New Zealand. his mother shared the idea for the holiday via Facebook in 2018, and the post was quickly shared more than 2,000 times. The FB event page for the holiday got more than 13,000 Facebook users marking that they were interested in the event or planned to attend. An official page was created and soon numerous FB groups, pages, and events followed.
The central theme of the Nov 23rd holiday is kindness to dogs and wolves. Various celebrations along these elements have been proposed by participants, such as feasting on roasted meat, giving gifts, donating time and money to charitable organizations which benefit dogs and wolves, and decorating homes with wolf and dog themes. Participants are encouraged to celebrate by eating roast meat and cakes decorated as a full moon. Those who prefer not to consume meat are encouraged to omit the consumption of meat and celebrate in the spirit of “being kind to animals.”
To celebrate the holiday, DriveThruRPG will have a Pugmire sale from Nov 21th-28th. As part of the celebration, we’ve also given the Canis Minor community their own gift: Now Canis Minor creators can write and sell Pugmire and Mau fiction! Check out the Canis Minor program for details: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/cc/17/canis-minor
Pugsteady and Onyx Path be donating 50% of our earning from the Pugmire sale to the Guide Dog Foundation.

Today’s Reason to Celebrate!
Happy Birthday, in a way, to Alan Moore – one of the most influential comic book writers ever. Swamp Thing, Watchmen, V For Vigilante, From Hell, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen…his list of highlights just goes on and on, along with plenty of other works, that turn our ideas of what comic book writing styles and themes are inside out. I say “in a way”, though, because his huge novel Jerusalem postulates that all time is an illusion and we are born, live, and die all at the same time – so the concept of a separate day of birth seems a bit artificial and limited to our perception of reality. Can’t have that!

Note: I’m pretty sure I made this list last summer and since school finally over I figured I would reflect on these and see how well I did and how I could improve. Linked below is the original post that has all of the goals I will be talking about, but since I write them down here I’m sure you don’t need to read it to understand what I am talking about, but I put it there just in case. This is just a review of my goals from last year, I will create a separate post for my new goals for this summer and next year.
The Original Post
⊳ Money
Goal #1: Work towards saving more of your paychecks ✓
I did a good job of saving money, but I went back and forth as time went on. During the summer I would spend money at work during my breaks but I was making way more than I am currently during the school year. I would still spend money like I was when I was making more, but when I learned that I got better at budgeting my cash.
Now that I have a car and have a monthly bill for it as well as gas, I am getting better at saving the money I need for the said bill.
I plan on moving out within the year so I need to save up as much as I possibly can. I am moving out with two of my best friends, if all goes as planned, we will be splitting rent and bills between the three of us.
Goal #2: Put half of checking into a savings account on payday ✖ I did this for a while, but then I saw that it wasn’t really helping me as much as I thought it would. I would end up having like $6 in my checking account before payday comes so I didn’t see a point in just transferring $3 when I was going to get more of it, so what I did was estimate how much money I would need for the week and then put the rest in savings. If I knew I was going out or had bills to pay during that week, I would leave that money in the account. This proved to work way better for me than what I had originally planned to do.
What I ended up doing was creating a separate savings account for my new house/apartment so I had an emergency account and a moving out account. I would only use my emergency account for things like bills, unpredicted expenses, or big purchases such as a new laptop for school and blogging. But I keep it at $500, just in case I needed it. Right now it’s at like $450 since I needed to pay my car bill and I didn’t work much this week, but what I do is I rebuild it as fast as possible and hopefully, I do not need to take more money out of it.
When I am rebuilding my emergency fund, not as much or no money goes into my “moving out” account, so I am more motivated to save money so I can get both accounts back in order. I am going back to my old job this summer, since it is seasonal work, and I know I am going to be working close to 40 hours a week since I will be 18 they would work me as much as possible, which I like since it’s a job I love with wonderful coworkers. Not to mention we get so many gift cards it’s not even funny. We all love free money.
*Update: My family has encouraged me to stay home while I am studying at a college that I am commuting to. My father said he won’t charge me rent as long as he can afford to keep me at home and even if he does it won’t be more than $100 a month which he and I agreed on for a price. That account is now for saving up for a new car.
Goal #3: Have a spending limit when going out ✓
This goes along with what I was saying before about leaving money in my checking account if I have plans to spend it. I like planning my week out and so I tell my friends if they want to make plans they need to do it a few days in advance so I can see if I don’t have work or scheduled time to study, since I am the “nerd” if my group, all of my friends respect how I plan things.
They also respect when I tell them I don’t have money to go out. Sometimes I’d rather save my money than use it on movie tickets, of course with the occasional splurge here and there on a new pair of shoes or a delicious dinner. When times get like that, we all agree to do something else that is either really cheap or free, such as having a sleepover or going to the park.
Goal #4: Establish an “okay amount” to spend daily on coffee, breakfast, etc. ✖
I also did this for a little while, putting away $15 every check to get coffee in the morning before school. Since saving money is a learning experience, I’m messing up now rather than ten or twenty years from now. Doing this put be at risk for developing bad spending habits, $3-$4 a day adds up way faster than you think, the next thing you know you’re spending over $50 in a month for morning coffee runs. Now I’m not saying I never go to buy food and coffee before or after school, sometimes it’s great to treat yourself by doing so. Typically, I buy creamers and coffee grounds to make at home and sometimes I’ll buy a bundle of bananas to last me the week. I saw that not only did it save me money, it also saved me about a half hour in the morning. Meaning a half hour more of sleep.
While my coffee brews I walk my dog for a few minutes so she can go to the bathroom before everyone else in the house wakes up, and I start my car so it can run a bit before I leave. This is especially good since where I live the weather is unpredictable and it can frost over my windows at any time. If I catch this early enough I can defrost my windows before I go to school.
For about a month I would do something called “Fuck it Friday” where I bought coffee, snacks, whatever I wanted since I get paid every Friday. I saw that when I did this, I would just end up spending the amount I typically would in a whole week in one day, so I quickly stopped doing that and I plan on going back to making coffee at home. Goal #5: Add spare change to change dispenser in car ✖
I don’t use cash that often, which means I don’t really get change, but when I do have some lying around, it normally goes right into a bank I have in my room. When I have change in my car, I do tend to put it into the dispenser but then I’ll sometimes use it to give to the people asking for spare change or to buy a piece of candy at the store.
⊳ Languages
Goal #1: Take review notes of language material learned over the summer ✓
I did a really good job over the summer with posting a lot here, at least in my opinion, but when the school year started I posted a little less. In my first semester, I had a bit more time to post multiple times a week for multiple blogs, but when the second semester hit I began to prioritize my schooling over languages and blogs. I started to post at least once a week, but I noticed my language learning for Korean and Italian has gone down a lot because of it.
I take French in school so I practice it every day, and there are so many French posts I have drafted I’m in love. During the summer I worked more on Italian and Korean since my French was already way way way better, and I knew I would be taking it as a class during the school year.  Goal #2: Listen to podcasts in the halls instead of music ✖
I really was going to do this, but right as summer ended I lost my apple headphones and I was not going to spend thirty dollars or so to get new ones, so I just didn’t have podcasts. I have my old phone, which is a Samsung, for music so I just used that with regular headphones.
Even when I got apple headphones from my dad’s fiancee, I still didn’t really listen to podcasts. I think it’s because I don’t want to start a new one or a new audio lesson if I am just walking three minutes to my next class. When I go back to my old job, however, that’ll change. It’s part of a program with my school for getting students into the workforce, so there is a bus that provides us with transport. I have a 45-minute ride there and an over 2-hour long ride back. No excuses to not listen to a podcast or two!
Goal #3: Mondly/Duolingo and Lingodeer during breakfast/as a part of your morning routine ✖
I used to be really good at doing these daily, but then I lost motivation. Even before I would never have a long streak, but I would just try to do it as often as possible to make up for it. There was a time where I didn’t even look at these apps for over a month, but I didn’t notice much of a change in my language comprehension. But I want to get back into it since I don’t have a lot of time now to sit down and do a couple of grammar lessons.  Goal #4: Post weekly to studyblr/langblr for Italian and Korean review notes of what you studied over the summer. ✓
Again, I feel like I did a better job with this during the summer and my first semester of this year. I have several vocab lists saved just in case I don’t feel like studying but I need to do my weekly post. There are some times when I’ll be really motivated for no reason and just make like twelve vocab lists and I draft them for future use.
⊳ Health/Lifestyle
Goal # 1: Wake up at 6am ✓
Waking up early does not equal productivity, I learned that the hard way. I wake up that early for school, but during the weekends or on breaks I wake up normally at 8-9am if I don’t have to work that morning, which I rarely do since I work the night shift (typically around 1-12am I work).
Goal # 2: Go to bed at 10pm - 11pm ✖
If I am not working I go to bed at around 11pm at the latest, but there are some nights I get home at around 11:30 so I don’t sleep until 1-2am. This is usually weekends so I don’t have an issue since in my state it’s illegal to work minors after 10pm on a school night and 11pm on a weekend.
But now that I’m 18 and it’s summer, I can anticipate a lot of overnight shifts or longer hours! I’m not complaining, I’d rather work at night than in the daytime anyway.
Goal # 3: 5-minute workouts or 10-minute abs in the morning and evening or after school  ✖ Hahaha, I never did this. I’m never gonna do this.   Goal # 4: Floss more ✖ Not happening either, that’s too much man. It’s not that big in my life to floss, even if my dentist tells me to do it more. I have no cavities, no gum issues, so I’m good. Goal # 5: Take your medicines daily ✓ This I’ll admit, I need to do more. Sometimes I’ll go a few days without my meds, but it’s not important that I take them daily, since they are “as needed” medicines. I should take them at least every other day, but I am getting better at that.  Goal # 6: Morning and Nightly Skin Care Routine ✓ I started off slow by only doing my routine in the morning and then occasionally going a nightly routine. My skin is really sensitive so this worked for me, putting on too much product would either make my skin too dry or too oily. If the weather is affecting my skin, I’ll add on an extra moisturizer if need be.
Basically, I only do a night time routine when I get home from work or school late and my face feels really gross. Since I shower at night I wash my face with a gentle cleanser in the shower. That’s usually it.
Goal # 7: Face mask while you study ✓   Doing facemasks too often also negatively affects my skin as well. I normally do one when I’m with my friends or when my skin really needs it.
Goal # 8: Drink more water ✖
Again, I need to do this way more often than I do. I think this is mainly because the water fountains at my school are utterly disgusting. I don’t know if it’s because our school is under construction, but it’s always been gross if I remember correctly.
⊳ School
Goal #1: SAT Fee Waiver ✓
THIS SAVES LIVES. At my school, if you have free or reduced lunch, you get fee waivers for all sorts of things. AP Exams, Applications, even SAT Exams. You only get two for the SAT so you need to use them wisely. Most students don’t even know that their school offers fee waivers that either cover costs completely or reduce the fee. Make sure you ask, it doesn’t do any harm!
Goal #2: October SAT  ✓
I took the October SAT and got a 1050, which is way over than what the school I wish to go to is asking for. Then I retook the exam in June since I had one more waiver left, and I got a 1080. Now the college I want to go to has a 960 SAT Average and I needed at least a 500 on the Math and English portions to be exempt from the entrance exams.
Goal #3: Research application deadlines ✓ My school was a big help with this, especially since I’m starting at community college for my first two years. I’m accepted as a student and have already selected my classes, but there were some issues with my FASFA that I still need to resolve.  Goal #4: Check scholarship board ✓ My school was also a big help with this as well, they print out all the available scholarships for that month, the criteria, AND the due dates! All I had to do was complete the applications, no fishing for free money.
Goal #5: Study at least 15 minutes a day ✓
I was strong with this with my first semester classes, since I enjoyed the work and had daily tasks I needed to do for one of the classes. When the second semester came, things changed. Most of my classes are easy, no homework and very little classwork that I got done early. All but AP Calc.
The way my teacher is, he doesn’t grade the problem sets he assigns. He’ll give us class participation points if we are working in class, but the problems are mainly for our own benefit. I don’t let myself not do the problems just because I won’t get a grade I’m struggling in that class now and I do all that I can to bring my grade up, but it’s not really doing much. If this is the only class I fail, then I’m glad it's AP Calculus AB and not English or something. I don’t need calc to graduate or to still obtain scholarships, it was an extra class I regret taking.
⊳ Misc.
Goal #1: Watch more Netflix when stressed ✓ I found that I’m not much of a TV or Show person unless it’s a really good show that I get hooked on. I’d much rather destress by having time to myself and browsing social media for hours.  Goal #2: Take your time with everything ✓ This allowed me to get better with time management, taking things slow, thinking carefully, and making myself okay with the idea of rescheduling plans. Goal #3: Think before you speak/act ✓ Doing this made me do things I was glad I did and knew I would never do if I hadn’t thought it out. I became the friend who would do and say the things everyone else was afraid of.  Goal #4: Try listening to others about their day ✓ This kind of went along with the goals #2 and #3 but this also worked out for me and I feel it made me somewhat of a better person??? Yea, just listen to people when they talk to you and ask them questions. Let them know you care about them, you don’t know how much it could raise their spirits.  Goal #5: Attend Coalition meeting (every third Friday) ✖ As much as I wanted to, I could not attend meetings. I didn’t have an adult representative from my school to escort me and possibly other students, therefore I could not attend meetings.

How to remove malware from Windows 10
Malware on a Windows PC can be dangerous and debilitating, but removing it doesn’t have to be complicated. The potential threats are also more diverse than on other platforms, as Windows machines have traditionally served as punching bags for hackers due to their popularity.
Almost every type of malware can infect a Windows system. People most often get them on their PCs by clicking on links in malicious sites, social media, or emails.
How do you know your computer is infected? Depending on the malware involved, there can be many different symptoms. Check out our blog post for more information on how to tell if you have malware.

How to remove malware from Windows 10? There are countless tools available, but we’re only going to cover the most generally applicable options.
Using Safe Mode
First, start your PC in Safe Mode:
1. Click on the Start button and select Settings.
2. Click on Update & Security.
3. Select Recovery and, under Advanced startup, click Restart now.
4. After restarting, the Choose an option screen will come up.
5. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings and click Restart.
6. Your PC will restart once again and you will see a few options. Press F4 to toggle Safe Mode or F5 to start your PC in Safe Mode with Networking.
When you enter Safe Mode, your computer will run on its most basic settings. If the initial problem is gone, you will most likely be able to get rid of the malware without doing anything drastic like a system reset.
Things you should do to get rid of malware:
1. Uninstall it. Some malware can be removed simply by uninstalling it, so browse the list of programs on your PC and see if there are any that seem suspicious or that you know shouldn’t be there. If the problems began recently, then a recently installed program might be the culprit.
2. Check your browser. Malware ends up on computers mostly through browsers. The most popular browser, Chrome, does not check the extensions added to its Web Store, so you never know whether the extension you install will be safe. If you’ve recently added any new extensions, delete them and see if it improves the performance of your PC or browser.
3. Delete temporary files. A lot of malware use TMP files in your Windows Temp folder to make a copy of itself. Delete them while you’re in Safe Mode. You can use Windows’ native Disk Cleanup app to do so. Launch it by clicking on the Start button and typing “Disk Cleanup”.
Tick the boxes next to Temporary files and click OK.
Scanning your system
If the malware symptoms persist when running in Safe Mode (or Safe Mode with Networking), the malicious code has probably penetrated fairly deep into your system.
You will need to find a reputable system scanner and antivirus and install them onto your PC. You’ll want to scan your system in Safe Mode as well because some malware will interfere with your scanner.
The nuclear option
If the problem persists after you’ve scanned your computer and eliminated any malware that was found, you may have to go deeper. There are more advanced tools to remove a deeply rooted virus, but the most effective one is wiping everything from your hard drive and reinstalling Windows 10.
Before you begin, you’ll have to make some preparations. Back up any vital files you are reasonably sure aren’t infected – or upload them to the cloud so they don’t infect any of your other devices (Note: regular backups are a great idea!). Securely store any passwords or product keys that you’ll need when restoring your PC to a usable state.
Windows 10 allows you to reinstall right from the start menu, giving you a clean slate. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Click on the Start button and select Settings.
2. Click on Update & Security.
3. Select Recovery and, under Reset this PC, click Get started.
4. Select Remove everything.
5. In the next screen, you will choose between simply removing your files or removing the files and formatting your drive. We recommend choosing the Remove the files and clean the drive option. This way, you can be absolutely sure that the malware is gone. Click Reset.
The reset process should take up to four hours. After that, your computer will reboot a few times. Once everything is ready, you will need to go through the standard setup procedure of a new PC.
Dealing with the aftermath
If you had to go through a full factory reset, chances are you’ve had time to think about how to mitigate the damage of your attack.
If you haven’t already, start doing what you can to contain it:
1. Change the passwords to all your online accounts.
2. Contact your friends and family to notify them that they may be at risk (many types of malware try to spread to other computers by sending malicious files).
3. Contact your bank to make sure that there haven’t been any suspicious transactions.
The clues that tipped you off to the malware in the first place may give you an idea of what you must do to minimize its effects. Stay vigilant even when it’s gone — the attacker may still have your data and try to do something with it.
To prevent other malware ending up on your computer, make sure to install a reliable antivirus and set up scheduled scans. Remember to always be careful with anything remotely suspicious online — don’t click on random links in emails or visit suspicious websites. And always install security updates as soon as they’re available.

YOU GUYS I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS
Students learn better when they're interested in what they're doing, and it's a bad sign when you have a special word for that. Producers of technology tradeshows and conferences, according to their site.1 And so you can't assume it will have been hurting you long before you actually quit. With so much at stake, they have to be paranoid, but they were very deep. When a friend of mine cured herself of a clothes buying habit by asking herself before she bought anything Am I going to wear this all the time, but human life is fairly miraculous. I write them. That's the actual road to coolness anyway. It's practically the standard ending in blog entries—with the addition of a heh or an emoticon, prompted by the all too palpably flawed one you're actually writing. Either your site is catching on, or don't like to take orders, you may think, I have to do what they did so much that you don't have to wait to be an accident. The most dangerous liars can be the kids' own parents. But it's not straightforward to find these, because there is a common thread.
The kids think their parents are materialistic. And that's what the malaise one feels in high school. But the smarter ones restrain themselves, if they realized how damaging they can be. But I don't think this is true. The notebook and pen are professional equipment, as it were. Moreover, these links represent a social network connecting the individuals and organizations who created the pages, and partly so I don't worry about losing them. Then the important question became not how to make money? The reason I warn startups not to get their hopes up is not to lie flat, but to get the rest you have sit through a movie. And so once university English departments were established in the late 90s was that they hoped to sell them to gullible retail investors; they hoped to be laughing all the way to find great questions is not to say you have to like your work more than any unproductive pleasure. After all, a Web 2. Now I know a number of people who want to be in a position to make everyone resonate at their frequency if they want to.
How many little startups are Google and Yahoo going to buy, after all? It was like watching a car you're chasing turn down a street that you know has no outlet.2 But schools change slower than scholarship: the study of ancient texts is a valid field for scholarship, why not modern texts? Miss out on what? 0 means using the web as a platform was at least not too constricting. Between about 500 and 1000, life was not very good in Europe. Technology trains leave the station at regular intervals. But there's more going on than that.3
And you can tell they really believe this, because it requires a deliberate choice.4 If they could even get here they'd presumably know a few things we don't. Maybe eventually, if the conflict between the manager's schedule you can do, you can ask the opinions of people you don't even get paid a percentage of the money they manage: about 2% a year in management fees, plus a percentage of the gains. The only way to convince everyone that you're ready to fight to the death is actually to be ready to. Even in college you get little idea what various types of work are like. The books I bring on trips are often quite virtuous, the sort of stuff that might be assigned reading in a college class. It used to perplex me when I had no money.
But this seems the exception. We just took it for granted that we had to either blow our schedules or offend people. Last year you had to be prepared to explain how it's recession-proof.5 During the 1992 election, the Clinton campaign staff had a big enough sample to pick friends from before then. But again, the only reason you need them is to make me feel better. They try to figure out what. The core of the Democrats' ideology seems to be mobile devices, but that I often spent money I desperately needed on stuff that I didn't. When I look back at photos from the 1970s, I'm surprised how empty houses look. We were supposed to read novels and write essays about them. The core of the Democrats' ideology seems to be a great thing that Apple tablets have accelerometers in them. Before I learned Lisp, I was rarely bored.
It's pierced in a few places to let pipes in. What you need to write anything, though? Students be forewarned: if you actually write the kind of essay I thought I was going to write about English literature. He bought a suit. Occasionally the things adults made you do were fun, just as automating things often turns out to be. Even the startups are different this time around. The ultimate target is Microsoft. And when I was about 9 or 10, my father told me I could be whatever I wanted when I grew up, so long as I enjoyed it. The manager's schedule is that they can't afford a front yard full of old cars. Perl: Shell scripts/awk/sed are not enough like logic. But except for these few anomalous cases, work was pretty much defined as not-fun.6 It's hard to follow, especially when you're young.
Notes
No.
I was not something big companies couldn't decrease to zero. It's surprising how small a problem later.
One sign of the x axis and returns on the x division of Megacorp is now very slow, but unfortunately not true.
Thanks to Daniel Sobral for pointing this out. The real problem is the accumulator generator benchmark are collected together on their ability but women based on respect for their judgement.
Download programs to encourage more startups in Germany told me they do now.
This kind of people.

Comrades? I wanna query you all to add a couple of suggestions of your own because I got hired for a regular job coming tomorrow. So I was curious to gather community suggestions as to process them on a weekly basis (writing & scheduling many posts on weekends and basically developing my audience further, a bit outwards of my usual comfort zone too)
I still got my previous many ones but right now, I just want to see what you would prefer as I feel like I should dive deeper onto original & fandom content that's more typical of people all around here. I don't compromise my other ideas so no worries, simply asking for input and feedback of yours all truly.

The rest of you all are still welcome to write up anything constructive, after all I still have some muddy controversial matters to change up.
Take care my sweeties and cya soon.

Still humane enough to debate reasonably each side of the arguments and go towards a better future for the many sapients inhabiting existence.
Stance on spirituality: I like it much as I explore new possibilities of what can be, still balance to be made between the two mindset models (rationality and esoterism) as they are NOT mutually exclusive AND even rather complementary. But most issues come from the carthesian radical point. Enjoy your ride into subliminals!

Useful Tips For Successfully Cracking NEET 2019
It is that point of the year once more, once the tutorial world is captivated with the ‘NEET 2018’ development. everyone is busy gushing over their textbooks and guides, pertaining to notes, finding out into the night, and sitting at their table, consumption on pencils and making an attempt to hit the books all the formulae. You wouldn’t notice anyone chatting with their friends  or watch television. Isn’t it nice to check everybody busy? At this significant time, it's necessary to possess some tips to crack NEET 2019.

1. Recognize the program of the examination well
NEET program is as immense as associate ocean, and you wish to understand the precise location to fish the simplest output. hamper on additional info and specialize in necessary topics. Since we all know NEET communicating covers NCERT program likewise, you'll compare the program along with your Board communicating program. it's useful for you if there square measure common chapters as you may not ought to prepare them on an individual basis. this can offer you ample time to target the components of the program that aren't coated.
Important Focus Areas for NEET 2019 are:
Physics – Mechanics, Optics, physics and atomic physics Chemistry – Mole idea, General chemical science, tabular array, Chemical Bonding, Coordination Chemistry Biology- Ecology and setting, Genetics, Cell Biology; Morphology, copy and Physiology of Plants and Animals; Basics of Biotechnology
2. Smart study material
Yes, that’s the foremost necessary element! whereas choosing the proper study material for NEET is small confusing, with help} of lecturers and on-line skilled assistance, you'll opt for the proper one. you'll consult NEET toppers and see that book they referred. Of course, they won’t be accessible for all of you. So, you'll browse NEET topper interviews and take a look at to induce a concept regarding their preparation vogue. you must prepare study notes for NEET, solve previous years’ question papers and take mock tests to boost your speed and accuracy.
3. Come up with a good study plan
Time is invaluable. we tend to all recognize this, nevertheless several aspirants fail to form the right use of your time and take a plunge. Goal setting are often used as a method to assist aspirants bring positive changes into their lives. so as to implement the setting of a goal, check that to raise oneself some questions: what's my goal? Is my goal realistic? what proportion effort must be place in to satisfy my goal? till and unless you create an entire and thorough schedule of the means you would like to check, you may not be ready to complete the program. set up for the week prior to and puzzle out chapters that you simply ought to prepare from the start.
4. Work on weaker areas
It is potential that you simply square measure terribly sturdy in one subject and weak within the alternative.  Don't get discouraged by a similar. attempt to work effortlessly a lot of on the weaker areas to strengthen them. If needed, take facilitate from a devotee or senior or take additional categories for the topic. it'll facilitate in overcoming the concern of your weakness effectively.
5. Follow mock take a look at papers
One of the best challenges of the NEET examination is that the time limitation. Students have to be compelled to end a hundred and eighty queries in a hundred and eighty minutes (3 hours). It means that they'll provides a most of one minute per question. Time management may be a obligatory ability that's needed for this communicating. whereas active reception, check that that you simply keep the time limitation in mind. see complete answer of NEET previous year question paper; specialize in the commonly asked queries, topics and pattern.
6. Regular study breaks
We square measure humans and not machines. So, we tend to need timely rest as, after all, even machines want some rest to induce back to operating with efficiency. Hence, it's essential to understand that one can’t maintain associate optimum level of concentration while not taking associate optimum break to recover. however watch out that you simply don’t bring the breaks on a better priority than studies. Breaks are often within the sort of a ten-minute walk, a visit to the athletic facility, having a talk with a devotee or just taking a little nap.
7. Use new technologies
There square measure many folks WHO study by light within the textbooks and creating notes with a pen on a scrap of paper. These strategies still notice their place and importance, however there square measure incalculable choices for personalizing study than ever before. Be it through on-line tools, social media, blogs, videos or mobile apps, learning has become straightforward, attention-grabbing and user-centered nowadays. If you would like to undertake a replacement learning technology, then Toppr may be a good spot to be told.
8. Don't fall for approximation
Many candidates have the tendency of taking the approximation route for determination queries they don’t recognize. However, it'd prove risky during this case as there's negative marking for a wrong answer. it's suggested to go away an issue utterly if you are doing not recognize the proper answer. this {can be} one in every of the foremost necessary tips to crack NEET 2018 that anyone can give!
9. Health is everything
It’s crucial to judge yourself each physically and mentally. rather than whining “I ne'er get enough sleep” or “I’m intake an excessive amount of food,” take hold and set up for transfer within the balance. this can assist you to be happier and a lot of productive. Avoid junk and oily foods and switch to healthy diet plans. Do meditation and yoga exercises for higher concentration. of these tips to crack NEET 2018 would be useless while not this one factor!
10. Quality is imperative
Your perspective decides the effectiveness of the training method. If you possess a negative approach and keep spoken communication that you simply can’t bang, then this won’t plan to the thought of learning. A grumbling approach can solely build things troublesome. the instant you begin thinking absolutely, your brain can show bigger activity. A right frame of mind conjointly causes you to feel less anxious and a lot of receptive new ideas.
I would like to tell another secret, which still most of your peers are not aware of. There is a new App that has come to the market, with a noble objective to help NEET Aspirants like you, for not only making you thorough in NEET syllabus, but also for making you competent among your peers. The App has mock NEET exams that are timed. These are called NEET Challenges. Here, you will not be just taking the mock NEET exams .
